SmartLab is a proprietary implementation of National Instruments' LabVIEW. It is a fully integrated software package that provides data acquisition and control on the manufacturing line and in the laboratory. Easy to use, SmartLab software converts the computer into a more powerful tool for process evaluation and statistical control.

Traditionally, test data from various instruments is recorded manually. This process is slow, inefficient and prone to error. SmartLab eliminates these problems by connecting the instruments directly to the computer. Instrument test data is downloaded to the computer via RS-232 communications or a network connection, displayed on the screen and transferred to the historical database from which various statistical tests are conducted and customized reports generated.

• It's easy to use. This powerful, windows-based program contains simple, highly graphical operator interfaces and pull down menus.

• Data is automatically collected from instruments and sensors and can be tagged with sample identification with SmartIDcom.

• It vividly displays real-time data from four instruments or sensors on one screen (e.g. net contents, brix, oxygen, pressure, temperature, pH and TA.)

• Switch buttons access screens for other instruments and sensors.

• The real-time graphs automatically adjust their axes and control lines (target, upper and lower control limits) for the data displayed either through SmartIDcom or a pull down menu.

• It enables the user to isolate and evaluate the data stream of any instrument that has an RS-232 output and adapt it to the software package without any programming.

• SmartLab is supported at your site via modem. Help is only a telephone call away.

SmartLab stores test data as it is collected. It automatically records the sample tested, production line, the time and date of the test and the test value. The database, based on Microsoft Access, allows for manual data entry and editing. In addition, the program generates quick and accurate reports with SPC statistics and graphs based upon sample identification number, time and date. The operator can view single or multiple records for a specific instrument. Or, reports can be generated based upon various criteria -- product, production line, instrument, date and time.

Terriss magnetic stirrers are unique to the industry. Enclosed in a stainless steel housing, they run at 60 to 120 rpm. They utilize rare earth magnets in both the stirrer and stir bar for close, powerful coupling. Higher speeds are available, however, there is some loss of torque.

This meter measures up to 20.0 ppm dissolved oxygen in aqueous solutions and up to 100% oxygen concentration in an atmospheric environment. Calibration is performed by holding the electrode in the air and adjusting the calibration knob to read 20.9%.

The electrode is manufactured with a silver cathode and operates like a battery. It is maintenance free and under normal conditions has a twelve month life. The standard electrode is furnished with a 5 foot cord, but other lengths are available in 5 foot increments. Please specify the length required.
